Disclosed is an EGR mixer (30) for mixing a fresh air flow and an EGR flow. The mixer (30) comprises an air duct (80), an EGR duct (75) and a mixing duct (225) comprising a first (230) and a second mixing section (232). The mixer (30) further comprises a supplemental duct (255) connecting the EGR duct (75) with the mixing duct (225) downstream of the first mixing section (230).
