Convertible cabin attendant seat

A cabin attendant seat (10) comprises a seat element (12) and a backrest (14). The backrest (14) is movable relative to the seat element (12) between an upright position, wherein a backrest surface (20) of the backrest (14) extends at an angle of approximately 80 to 100° relative to a seat surface (18) of the seat element (12), and a folded-back position, wherein the backrest surface (20) of the backrest (14) extends substantially co-planar with the seat surface (18) of the seat element (14).
