This heat-recovery system (100) for recovering low-grade energy generated by an engine (14) of a vehicle (10), the heat-recovery system (100) comprises a plurality of liquid-to-liquid heat exchangers (102), a vapor absorption refrigeration system (110), a fluidic circuit (150), which is filled with a refrigerant and which links the plurality of liquid-to-liquid heat exchangers (102) and the vapor absorption refrigeration system (110), and a pump (160), to circulate the refrigerant through the fluidic circuit (150). At least one of the plurality of liquid-to-liquid heat exchangers (102) is configured to extract heat from the low-grade energy generated by an engine (14) of the vehicle (10).
