FUEL CELL AND FUEL CELL STACK
DRIVE
June 18, 2014
Provided are a fuel cell and a fuel cell stack with which it is possible to maintain good electrical connectivity even in long-term usage. A fuel cell (3) comprises: a pair of inter-connectors (ICs 12, 13); a cell main body (20) which is positioned between the ICs (12, 13), wherein an air electrode (14) is formed on one face of an electrolyte (2) and a fuel electrode (15) is formed on the other face thereof; and current collector members (18, 19) which are positioned between at least either the air electrode (14) or the fuel electrode (15) and the ICs (12, 13), and which electrically connect the air electrode (14) and/or the fuel electrode (15) with the ICs (12, 13). The current collector members (18, 19) further comprise: connector contact parts (19a) which make contact with the ICs (12, 13); cell main body contact parts (19b) which make contact with the cell main body (20); and spacers (58) which are formed in linkage with junction parts (19c) which join the connector contact parts (19a) with the cell main body contact parts (19b), and are positioned to separate the connector contact parts (19a) from the cell main body contact parts (19b) between the cell main body (20) and the ICs (12, 13).
