Subframe for a motor vehicle

The subframe (1) has two longitudinal elements (2) that are arranged in spaced-apart relationship in a vehicle transverse direction. A cross element is provided for connecting longitudinal elements with one another. The reinforcement (4) is connected to longitudinal elements and cross element for increasing a torsion resistance of the subframe. A charge module (5) is integrated in reinforcement and is configured to transmit energy in a contactless manner. The longitudinal elements are arranged in symmetry to one another. The free space (4a) is provided in midsection of reinforcement. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle.
