METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PNEUMATIC TIRE

[Object] To provide a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire 2 which is excellent in uniformity and durability. [Solution] The method for manufacturing the tire 2 is executed by using a former including a drum, a first head, and a second head. The manufacturing method includes the steps of: feeding a first ribbon including a first cord from the first head, laminating an end of the first ribbon on a belt 12 at an inner side, in an axial direction, of a first end 36a of the belt 12, feeding a second ribbon including a second cord from the second head, and laminating an end of the second ribbon on the belt 12 at an inner side, in the axial direction, of a second end 36b of the belt 12; winding the first ribbon in a circumferential direction at the first end 36a of the belt 12, and winding the second ribbon in the circumferential direction at the second end 36b of the belt 12; and winding the first ribbon and the second ribbon such that the first ribbon and the second ribbon intersect each other at a position corresponding to an equator plane of the tire 2.
