An adjustment element includes actuator (20) which performs force adjustment of the windshield wiper arm (2) of vehicle (10), based on wiping angle and driving speed of vehicle. A fixing element (4) fixes the windshield wiper arm at a wiping drive (8) and a joint (18). The actuator is arranged between fixing element and joint, in parallel to joint.
