A vehicle headlight (1) includes: a lighting unit (10); and a control unit (CO) that controls the lighting unit (10), the control unit (CO) forms, in a light distribution pattern (PH) of a high beam, first regions (51a and 51b) that overlap at least part of a predetermined target and whose light amounts have been reduced, and lateral blurred regions (53ra, 53la, 53rb, and 53lb) that lie along left and right edges of the first region (51a and 51b) and whose light amounts have been reduced, luminances of the lateral blurred regions (53ra, 53la, 53rb, and 53lb) increase from a side of the first regions (51a and 51b) toward a side opposite to the first regions (51a and 51b), and widths (wra and wla) of the lateral blurred regions (53ra and 53la) in which a distance from a vertical line (V) passing a center in a left-right direction of the own vehicle (100) is less than a predetermined distance (D) are narrower than widths (wrb and wlb) of the lateral blurred regions (53ra and 53la) in which the distance is the predetermined distance (D) or more.
