The mobile machine e.g. telescopic handler (1) has an evaluation unit for detecting an emergency situation of an operator. A control unit is provided for the automatic triggering of an overturning moment, after detection of the emergency situation which includes the risk of tipping of the machine. The counteracting torque is produced in a reaction by the control unit for reducing the tilting moment during the machine drive by an actuator to achieve a stable operating condition.
