The method involves supplying intermediate circuit (20) to different output stages (30,30',80). The first output stage and the energy accumulator (120) are connected to a second output stage. The second output stage is brought into different operating states. The operation state of the second output stage of the energy storage device is loaded from the intermediate circuit and is powered from the energy storage in another operating state of the second output stage of the direct current link.
