"textContent": "A pneumatic tire having a pair of spaced apart bead components (6), a connecting carcass (3) between the bead components (6), a pair of sidewalls (5) overlying the carcass (3), and a rubber chafer (9) adjacent to each of the sidewalls (5) and positioned around at least a portion of each of the bead components (6) and intended for contacting a rigid rim of a wheel is disclosed. The chafers (9) comprise 100 parts by weight of elastomer, 20 to 60 phr of a first carbon black having an Iodine absorption value in a range of from 10 to 50 as measured by ASTM D1510 and 20 to 60 phr of a second carbon black having an Iodine absorption value in a range of from 100 to 300 g/kg as measured by ASTM D1510. The sidewalls (5) comprise 100 phr of the same elastomer used in the chafers (9), 20 to 60 phr of the same first carbon black used in the chafers (9), and 10 to 20 phr of the same second carbon black used in the chafers (9). The weight ratio of the second carbon black in the chafers (9) to the second carbon black in the sidewalls (5) is greater than 1.",
