A method of indicating an interference magnetic field at an electronic device (100) includes: displaying a first arrow (206) indicating a direction of magnetic north on a display (112) of the electronic device, the direction of the first arrow (206) corrected to remove interference caused by an interference magnetic field; and displaying a second arrow (208) indicating a direction of a source of the interference magnetic field on a display (112) of the electronic device (100).
