Vehicle, in particular a railway vehicle, with a friction brake and method for operating the same

The vehicle (1) comprises a friction brake (30) with a wheel (20) of rotatable friction partner, and a brake friction partner is connected with the vehicle. A pressure device (33) is provided to bring the wheel friction partner and the brake friction partner to deceleration of the wheel in a friction connection. The friction brakes comprises a feeding device (40) by which a friction element (50) is applied at a contact region between the wheel friction partner and the brake friction partner smoothly. An independent claim is included for a method for operating vehicle, particularly rail vehicle.
