A new hearing device is proviede configured to be head worn for emission of sound towards at least one of the ears of a user and accommodating an inertial measurement unit configured for determining head yaw, when the user wears the hearing device in its intended operational position on the user's head, and a distance measurement unit configured to measure distance from the user to an object in the field of view of the user.
