Display apparatus and controlling methods thereof

A display apparatus with a signal processor processes a plurality of contents and to form image frames and output these on a display. A remote control signal receiver receives a control command from a remote controller and a controller which determines a content view to be displayed from among the plurality of content views, based on the received control command from the remote controller. The remote controller has a detection unit to detect a distance or strength of received signal between a glasses apparatus and the remote controller. The view to be controlled on the display apparatus may be based on the detected distance or received strength of signal between a detected glasses apparatus and the remote controller.
