CONTROL DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
DRIVE

A control device includes a processor and a storage device, which stores a learned model learned through machine learning. The processor is configured to perform vibration suppression control for suppressing vibration caused by torsional resonance of a drive shaft when the electric vehicle is traveling on an uneven road. The learned model is a model that predicts a vertical load of the drive shaft after a specified time. In the vibration suppression control, the processor uses a prediction result obtained by the learned model to determine whether to perform speed-increasing correction or speed-decreasing correction and switches between the speed-increasing correction and the speed-decreasing correction to increase the rotation speed of the motor when the drive wheel is slipping on a road and decrease the rotation speed of the motor when the drive wheel is gripping the road.
