Airplane seat
DRIVE
April 16, 2014
The aircraft seat (1) has a seating element, which is made of a flexible material and has a seat surface (6) forming a seat cushion (2). The seat height is variable by introducing a medium into the seat element or by draining the medium from the seat element, in the area of left or right halves (8,9) of the seat cushion or in the area of both halves of the seat cushion independent of each other. The flexible material of the seat cushion is a foam material. The leveling pads (10a,10b) of the flexible material include foam material. An independent claim is included for a method for compensating for lateral sitting position caused by the angle of attack of an aircraft during a flight inclined seating position.
