DISK BRAKE DEVICE AND CALIPER SLIDE MECHANISM
DRIVE
April 16, 2014
A disc brake device (1) includes: a disc rotor (2) rotating around a rotational axial line; a friction pad (4) facing a friction surface of the disc rotor (2); a caliper (5) capable of pressing the friction pad (4) to the friction surface of the disc rotor (2); a mounting (6) provided with the caliper (5); and a caliper slide mechanism (7) supporting the caliper (5) on the mounting (6) in a manner enabling slide movement via a slide pin (71) inserted in a guide section (75) provided in a hole section (62) of the caliper (5) or the mounting (6), in which the caliper slide mechanism (7) has a variable mechanism (74) making a permissible swing angle of the slide pin (71) with respect to a slide movement direction variable in response to a braking action along with slide movement of the caliper (5). Accordingly, the disc brake device (1) and the caliper slide mechanism (7) can provide an effect of reducing noises.
