PARKING LOCK CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD

In a parking lock control device of a vehicle of the present invention, when a parking lock activation command is outputted, either one of the parking lock mechanisms is activated. When the steering wheel is steered to a right hand side, the left side parking lock mechanism is activated. When the steering wheel is steered to a left hand side, the right side parking lock mechanism is activated. Thus, power consumption is suppressed. In a case where the vehicle moves when only the one parking lock mechanism is activated, the other parking lock mechanism is also activated.
