Loading device for a self-propelled work device

The device has a housing (11) that includes an electric drive motor (12) and an electrical drive system (20). A rechargeable energy storage (15) has an electrical device contact (51) that is charged with an electric charging terminal (50) of a charging station (40). The device contact is provided in the interior of an open loading mouth (30) formed outward of the housing. The loading mouth is adjusted for retracting a loading pin (41) of the charging station, such that a self-propelled tool (10) is secured in the loading position in the charging station.
