Pre-chamber system for a combustion engine

The pre-chamber system (1) has a pre-chamber volume (4) including an ignition region (3) and a flow transfer region (7) separated from each other by an intermediate wall (9). A flow transfer passage (5) connects the flow transfer region of the pre-chamber volume to the main combustion chamber of the engine. An air feed passage (8) feeds compressed air or charge air into the flow transfer region.
