"textContent": "The present invention provides a method for desulphating a lead-acid battery storage system during its powering of a load, such as a base station. The battery system comprises at least two batteries connected in parallel. The method comprises disconnecting at least one battery from the load, and desulphating the disconnected battery with power from at least one battery connected to the load. The present invention further provides a battery device for powering a radio base station comprising at least two lead-acid batteries connected in parallel; a switch for disconnecting and re-connecting at least one of the batteries from/to the load; and at least one step-up converter arranged to raise the voltage of the power of the connected battery for desulphating the disconnected battery. Further, there is provided a hybrid energy system for a radio base station comprising at least one device arranged to power the radio base station; and a generator arranged to recharge the batteries of the device.",
