The pipe screw (10) has a first layer (24) that is provided with a friction-reducing layer (26). A threaded portion (12) and a collar portion (14) are formed in the sections of the first layer. The collar portion is formed in the section of a second layer (28). The friction-decreasing layer is made of a drying lubricating film based on polyethylene. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing pipe screw.
