FUEL FILTER WITH BOTTOM COMPARTMENT FOR COLLECTING WATER, FILTERING CARTRIDGE FOR SUCH A FILTER AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SUCH A CARTRIDGE

The filter (1) has a filtering element (6) whose lower end comprises a flask (12), which separates an upper compartment (Z1) from a lower compartment (V2). A communication pipe (O2) communicates between a top chamber (V1) and the lower compartment for allowing passing of water through a radial portion (12a) of the flask. An annular external side (12d) is fixed at upper end (3b) of a part of a shutter (3) in an annular zone in watertight manner. The filtering element separates the water in a separation zone from the water above the flask. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a filter cartridge.
