Wind deflector for cabriolet vehicle

The deflector (1) has a frame (10) extending parallel to a waist line of a passenger motor car in a storage position and upright in the region of front seats of the car in a use position. A raising unit (20) for raising the frame from the storage position into the use position. The raising unit is rigidly connected with the frame and has grasp portions (30) for holding the raising unit during rising of the frame. The grasp portions are arranged at an angle of maximum to 10 degrees with respect to a flat material web (16) clamped in the frame.
