Roof rack

The rack (2) has a strap (15) whose end is rolled on a mini-winch (3) that is fixed on the rack at a side of an object positioned on a roof. Another end of the strap is provided with a hook that is fastened to the roof, where the mini-winch freely slides in a rail (4) secured to the roof along an edge of the roof parallel to a side face of a motor vehicle (1). The mini-winch comprises a blocking device e.g. friction device and clamping screw device, for blocking a position of the winch in the rail. The friction device comprises a spacer located on a side of the mini-winch.
