The arrangement (1) has an exhaust pipe (4) that is formed concentrically on a gas duct (2). A bypass channel (3) is arranged is formed by a bypass pipe (6). The bypass pipe is closed by a rotatable bypass valve (10). The exhaust pipe is closed by a rotary exhaust valve (8). A recess (16) is formed in the bypass valve. An independent claim is included for an exhaust valve heat exchanger.
