The axle (28) has a central beam (29) whose front and rear ends are articulated with two pairs of arms (30). Two wheel spindles (31) are hinged to free ends of the arms and carried with a respective wheel hub (32). An oscillating arm (33) is articulated at an end of the center beam along an axis perpendicular to a rotation axis of the arm. The oscillating arm is secured to a frame (13) of a transport unit. Two springs (37) are extended symmetrically on a side of the oscillating arm, where free ends of each spring are hinged to the oscillating arm and the wheel spindles.
