A cord housing device includes an enclosure (51), a cord (50) capable of being stored in the enclosure (51) and drawn out from the enclosure (51), and a plug (42) provided at an end of the drawing out side of the cord (50), and connectable to an external power supply. In a natural state, the cord (50) is formed so as to bend back at a bent (60) provided at intervals in the length direction of the cord (50), and extend in a meandering manner. In the enclosure (51), the cord (50) is stored such that the region of the cord located between bents (60) overlap each other.
