ZINC CELLS WITH IMPROVED ANODE COMPOSITION

Electrochemical cell of button-cell type, comprises an electrode comprising zinc or a zinc alloy, aluminum hydroxide and/or at least one aluminate. An independent claim is also included for manufacturing the electrochemical cell, comprising manufacturing the electrode by mixing zinc powder or zinc-containing powder with aluminum hydroxide and/or the aluminate and optionally with an electrode binder, a conductivity-improving additive and/or a corrosion inhibitor.
