The system has two vehicles (1, 2) comprising coupling units (13, 14) and comprising drive devices (4, 6) and a steering device. The coupling units are operatively connected with a force sensor (K) i.e. two-axled working force transducer, that detects a working force acting on the coupling units in a coupled state of the vehicles to a load. The force sensor is coupled with the drive devices and the steering device of the vehicles such that the drive devices and the steering device of the vehicles are influenceable during reduction of the forces acting on the coupling units.
