Device for hanging a catenary carrying cable

The device has an attachment part adapted for being connected to a post and a cable holder (30). The holder is arranged to support a carrying cable and articulated with the attachment part around a horizontal rotation axis by using a fixing rod. An articulation ring (60) is mounted on upper end (32) of the cable holder so as to isolate the cable holder from the fixing rod. The cable holder is directly connected to the attachment part by the fixing rod. The ring is supported to the cable holder. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a suspension device and a carrying cable assembly (2) a system for holding a carrying cable above a railway line.
