Source
The arrangement has a power supply line (3) including a terminal for connecting the power supply line to a vehicle-external power line (1), where the power supply line includes shield segments (55a, 55b). The shield segments are connected via electrical connections (58a, 58b) to a reference potential such as ground potential. A damping device (10) is intended to dampen electrical vibrations of the arrangement with the participation of the power supply line, where the damping device is inductively coupled to the electrical connections between the shield segments and the ground potential. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying electric power to a rail vehicle.
