Provided is a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire (1), including the steps of preparing a polymer layer stack formed of a first layer made of a styrene-isobutylene-styrene triblock copolymer and having a thickness of 0.05 mm to 0.6 mm and a second layer made of an epoxidized styrene-butadiene-styrene triblock copolymer and having a thickness of 0.01 mm to 0.3 mm, molding a raw tire with the polymer layer stack bonded to the inner side of the tire as an inner liner (9), arranging the raw tire in a mold and vulcanizing the tire under pressure from a bladder, and cooling a vulcanized tire at 50°C to 120°C for 10 seconds to 300 seconds.
