The operation part is variably positioned on the support surface. The supply unit has coils arranged below the support surface. Data transmission is executed between the supply unit and the operation part based on near field communication for sending control signals from the operation part to a household appliance (1). The operation part has operating elements e.g. switch, for inputting control information by an operator. An independent claim is also included for a household appliance.
