WASTE HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM

A waste heat recovery system is provided to (i) capture waste heat , such as from or within an exhaust pipe of a tractor-trailer , (ii) extract a thermal heat value from the waste heat , (iii) convert the thermal heat value into electricity, and (iv) route the electricity to an electricity sink , such as a tractor-trailer Transport Refrigeration Unit (TRU).
