The intake system (1) has several cylinders. The suction line (4) is arranged between machine-side suction manifold and gas mixer. The suction line is provided with curved portions (4b-4d). The curved portion (4d) is inclined at an angle of 270 degrees. The cross-sectional shape of curved portion (4d) is formed of oval or elliptical.
