Packaging element and manufacturing thereof

The packing element comprises: a complex (6) including a layer of woody material (10) having an outside and an interior face, and a layer of reinforcement (8) extending from the interior face of the layer of woody material; a support (2) made of a first plastic; and an insert (4) made of a second plastic and interposed between the layer of reinforcement and the support so as to form a gap between the support and the layer of reinforcement. The support is injection molded on the insert. The complex includes a layer of protection adhering on the outside of the layer of woody material. The packing element comprises: a complex (6) including a layer of woody material (10) having an outside and an interior face, and a layer of reinforcement (8) extending from the interior face of the layer of woody material; a support (2) made of a first plastic; and an insert (4) made of a second plastic and interposed between the layer of reinforcement and the support so as to form a gap between the support and the layer of reinforcement. The support is injection molded on the insert. The complex includes a layer of protection adhering on the outside of the layer of woody material. The packing element comprises a three-dimensional external surface. The insert has a thickness of higher than 0.1 mm. The first plastics and the second plastics contain fibers. The support includes a functional unit formed in one part with the support. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a packing element.
