Transverse control arm and method for production of the transverse control arm

The arm (1) has two elastic bearings provided in two bearing mounts (4), respectively. An arcuate center portion (2) extends between the bearing mounts and includes a hollow cross section. Two side panels (8) extend from a web (7) of the center portion parallel to each other. The side panels include ends (12) arranged opposite to the web and comprising a region provided with reinforcing edges (13). The reinforcing edges of the opposing ends are oriented in a direction towards one another. The bearings are rubber bearings or rubber-metal bearings. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a transverse control arm.
