VEHICLE AND EXTERNAL POWER-FEEDING APPARATUS

An electric powered vehicle is equipped with a coil unit (101) capable of receiving electric power from a facility self-resonant coil (240) external to the vehicle. The electric powered vehicle includes: a pair of side members (10A, 10B) aligned in a widthwise direction of the vehicle and extending in a fore-aft direction of the vehicle; a vehicle self-resonant coil (110) coupled with the facility self-resonant coil (240) resonantly via an electromagnetic field to be capable of at least one of transmitting electric power and receiving electric power; and a vehicle capacitor (111) provided to the vehicle self-resonant coil (110) between the paired side members (10A, 10B).
