Since deterioration determination means (M1) determines a leak in the downstream of the slave cylinder (42) based on the actual amount of actuation of the slave cylinder (42) detected by a slave cylinder stroke sensor (Se) and the actual brake fluid pressure generated by the slave cylinder (42) and detected by a fluid pressure sensor (Sb, Sc), it is possible to rapidly determine a leak in the downstream of the slave cylinder (42).
