LOAD CARRIER WITH A FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT

The load carrier has a support base (11), where a load carrying portion (22a) is movably mounted on the support base for supporting a load by a bearing assembly. A manual or motorized, particularly electric or fluidic, load carrying portion drive (24a) is provided for the adjustment of the load carrying portion relative to the support base. The load carrying part in a use position is nearer to the support base than in the non-use position, where the use position is provided for placing the load and the non-use position for non-usage, particularly for stowage of the load carrier.
