Valve timing control apparatus

DRIVE December 4, 2013
Source
A valve timing control apparatus (10) includes a driving-side rotation member (11), a driven-side rotation member (12), a fluid chamber (C), an advanced angle chamber (Ca) and a retarded angle chamber (Cb), a fluid control mechanism (20-25), a first intermediate lock mechanism (L1) configured to selectively lock a relative rotation phase of the driven-side rotation member relative to the driving-side rotation member at a first intermediate lock phase (P1) and release a locked state of the relative rotation phase at the first intermediate lock phase, a most retarded angle lock mechanism (L3) configured to selectively lock the relative rotation phase at a most retarded angle lock phase (P3) and release a locked state of the relative rotation phase at the most retarded angle lock phase, and a second intermediate lock mechanism (L2) configured to selectively lock the relative rotation phase at a second intermediate lock phase (P2) and release a locked state of the relative rotation phase at the second intermediate lock phase.
