The plunger supports the intermediate piston by pushing a jump spring (156) against an opposite side of the simulator chamber. The jump spring is sized to simulate the jump. A brake spring (155) is sized to simulate reacting of a brake on a brake pedal (PF). An independent claim is also included for a method for managing a brake system.",
