The device is provided with a connector 10 having connection terminals 11 electrically connectable to an object to be charged; power lines 2 electrically connected to the connection terminals 11; a charger 1 connected to the power lines 2, for charging the object to be charged; a holding part for holding the connector 10; and determining means for determining the conduction state on the power lines 2 and the connection terminals 11. The holding part has conduction means for bringing about conduction through the connection terminals 11.
