The lamp (110) has a connector (122) that is connected to a multi-phase supply line (120) with the phase conductors (L1-L3). A phase selection device is arranged to selectively connect an operating device with a specific phase conductors of multi-phase supply line. The electronically controlled phase selector switch (130) is connected to a control input (132), so that the phase conductor is selected for the single-phase supply of operating device. An electronic control unit (140) is arranged for controlling the phase selector switch through the control input.
