Method for detecting and adjusting the pressure in a pneumatic tyre

The method involves allowing air to flow to a line (7) connecting the pneumatic tire (9) to a pressure reservoir (4). The measurement of tire-side air pressure at tire-side measuring point (16) of the line is performed. The tire pressure of the vehicle such as tractor (1) is estimated based on the calibration function which includes the tire-side pressure and reservoir-side pressure as variables.
