The vessel (10) has a pot-shaped pressure vessel main portion that is provided with a cylindrical peripheral side (30) and an end face (28). A threaded sleeve (42) is arranged in the end face, for receiving a bolt (34) for releasing the brake. The peripheral side and the end face of the pressure vessel are made of fiber reinforced plastic. The threaded sleeve has a recess (44) that is pressed into the plastic material, for connection with the end face. The end face has a frustum-shaped recess (38) in which the threaded sleeve is arranged. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing pressure vessel.
