Closure bolts with a flow limiting valve for an injector

The closure bolt (5) has high-pressure port (20) that is formed for injection of high-pressure fuel. A bolt-like portion (4) inserted into opening of injector (1) is provided with sealing surface (6) that closes opening of high-pressure port in tight manner. A high-pressure bore (11) is hydraulically connected to high-pressure port for issuing into the injector. A throughflow limiter (16) limits the flow rate of fuel delivered into the injector. The bolt-like portion has insert (24) in which the throughflow limiter is formed, and that bears the sealing surface. An independent claim is included for an injector of the modular common-rail fuel injection system.
