"textContent": "A laminated glazing comprises first and second plies of glass and a ply of interlayer, the ply of interlayer extending between the plies of glass. Each ply contains a hole, the holes in the plies being aligned to form a single continuous through-hole extending through the plies of glass and interlayer. The holes are of the same size and share the same outline. A member, such as a mounting plate, is attached to a surface of the glazing so as to occupy an area of that surface, the member being positioned on that surface so that the through-hole is within the area occupied by the member. Preferably, the member is a disc attached by adhesive in discrete beads extending along circular arcs adjacent the periphery of the disc. The member may carry a wiper assembly, a shaft of which passes through the hole.",
